Privacy policy
Effective date: 9 July 2026. This policy explains how EngageMotion Studio Pte. Ltd. collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.
1. Data controller
EngageMotion Studio Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202574192M) is the organisation responsible for personal data collected through engagemotion.life and related business communications. Our registered address is 20 Upper Circular Road #01-06, The Riverwalk, Singapore 058416. Privacy enquiries may be directed to [email protected] or +65 6223 4182.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data collected when you visit engagemotion.life, submit an enquiry form, communicate with us by email or telephone, engage our marketing agency services, or interact with cookies and similar technologies on our website. It does not cover third-party websites linked from our pages; those sites maintain their own privacy practices.
EngageMotion is a full-service marketing agency providing brand strategy, paid media, social engagement, video and motion production for client brands. We are not a fitness, life-coaching, or wellness business. Personal data is processed to operate our professional services firm and this website — not to sell data, and not for unrelated lifestyle products.
3. Personal data we collect
3.1 Information you provide
When you complete our contact form, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, company name, message content, and subject selection. We require explicit PDPA consent via an unchecked checkbox before submission. If you engage us as a client, we may additionally collect billing details, project contacts, brand materials, and campaign-related information necessary to deliver services.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you browse engagemotion.life, our servers and optional analytics tools may record IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. Cookie data is described in our Cookie Policy. You may accept, reject, or customise optional cookies via our banner; necessary cookies support basic site operation and consent storage.
3.3 Information from third parties
We may receive business contact details from referrals, event registrations, or publicly available professional directories. Client engagements may involve access to analytics, ad accounts, or CRM data you authorise — that data remains yours; we process it only to deliver agreed services.
4. Purposes of collection, use, and disclosure
We collect and use personal data for purposes including:
- Responding to enquiries and scheduling motion sessions or project discussions
- Delivering marketing agency services under contract — campaign planning, paid media, motion production, analytics, and reporting
- Managing client relationships, invoicing, and account administration
- Operating, securing, and improving engagemotion.life
- Measuring website traffic and campaign performance where you have consented to analytics or marketing cookies
- Complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements
- Protecting our rights, personnel, and systems against fraud or abuse
We do not sell personal data. We disclose data to service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics vendors) bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations, to professional advisers where required, and to regulators or law enforcement when legally compelled.
5. Legal bases and consent
Under the PDPA, we rely on notified purpose, consent, and legitimate business interests as appropriate. Contact form submissions require affirmative consent to collection and use for enquiry response. Optional cookies require consent via our banner before non-essential tracking activates. Client contracts specify additional purposes for campaign delivery. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications or optional cookies at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions on data already processed.
6. Data Protection Officer
EngageMotion has designated a Data Protection Officer reachable at [email protected]. The DPO oversees PDPA compliance, handles access and correction requests, and liaises with the Personal Data Protection Commission where required. Written enquiries may also be sent to our registered address marked "Data Protection Officer".
7. Retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to twenty-four months unless a business relationship develops. Client project data is retained for the contract term plus up to seven years for legal, tax, and audit purposes. Cookie consent preferences are stored for six months and refreshed when you revisit. Server logs are rotated on a rolling basis, typically ninety days. When retention periods expire, we delete or anonymise data unless longer retention is required by law.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of data we hold — access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited staff access, and secure handling of client credentials. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we review practices periodically and address identified risks.
9. Cross-border transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Singapore. Where this occurs, we take steps consistent with the PDPA to ensure recipients provide a comparable standard of protection, including contractual clauses or verified certifications where applicable.
10. Your rights under the PDPA
You may request access to personal data we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year. You may request correction of inaccurate data. You may withdraw consent for specific processing where consent is the basis. Requests should be sent to [email protected]. We respond within thirty days where practicable and may charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests. If we cannot comply fully, we will explain why.
11. Personal Data Protection Commission
If you believe we have not handled your personal data appropriately, you may contact us first so we can resolve the matter. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Singapore:

12. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and support marketing tags where permitted. Categories, vendors, durations, and opt-out instructions are detailed in our Cookie Policy. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from using the site or submitting enquiries.
13. Security safeguards
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal. Measures include HTTPS encryption for engagemotion.life, role-based access to client production folders, password policies for internal systems, and confidentiality obligations in contractor agreements.
No online transmission or storage method is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials you share with us for platform access during active engagements.
14. Cross-border transfers
Our primary systems and business operations are based in Singapore. Where we use service providers or collaborators located outside Singapore — for example cloud hosting, video collaboration tools, or freelance editors in other APAC markets — personal data may be transferred cross-border. We take steps to ensure such transfers comply with the PDPA, including contractual clauses requiring comparable protection standards and processing only for specified purposes.
If you require data to remain within Singapore for regulatory reasons, disclose that requirement at enquiry stage so we can scope infrastructure and subcontractor arrangements accordingly.
15. Data breach notification
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in significant harm to affected individuals, or that is of significant scale, EngageMotion will assess the incident promptly, take containment steps, and notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals as required under the PDPA and related guidance. Notifications will describe the nature of the breach, types of data involved, likely consequences, and steps we are taking to address the incident.
If you believe your interaction with us has been compromised, contact [email protected] immediately so we can investigate.
16. Children
engagemotion.life and our services are directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under eighteen without parental consent. Contact us if you believe we have received such data in error.
17. Marketing communications
We may send service-related updates to existing clients and, where permitted, occasional agency news. You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails via the unsubscribe link or by writing to [email protected]. Opting out does not affect transactional messages about active engagements.
18. Third-party platforms
When delivering paid social, Google Ads, or analytics services for clients, we may access platform accounts you authorise. Platform operators have independent privacy policies governing their services. We process platform data only within agreed project scope and do not merge client platform data with unrelated marketing lists.
If you contact us via LinkedIn, Instagram, or another social channel, messages sent through those platforms are subject to the platform operator's privacy terms in addition to this policy. For formal PDPA consent and enquiry handling, we encourage use of our website contact form where consent is recorded explicitly.
19. Automated decision-making
EngageMotion does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on website visitors. Analytics tools may aggregate browsing patterns to improve site structure; such processing does not determine eligibility for services or pricing without human review.
20. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of engagemotion.life after changes constitutes acknowledgement of the updated policy where permitted by law.
